Kadans Science Partner is investing in the dynamically developing life science and biotechnology hub of Mainz. This is another important step in the development of the Life Science Campus, where companies and start-ups can successfully research, found and grow.

At a press conference on January 30, 2024, Minister President Malu Dreyer, Minister of Economic Affairs Daniela Schmitt and the Lord Mayor of Mainz Nino Haase presented the investment project together with the Kadans Management Board.

Cooperation between Kadans and LZM for innovation and networking

Kadans Science Partner is an internationally renowned operator of state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure and specializes in business incubators. The Life Science Zentrum Mainz GmbH (LZM), which is jointly funded by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and the state capital Mainz, will also be located in the laboratory building planned in Mainz in the future.

The LZM has already entered into a cooperation agreement with the Dutch company. The aim is to jointly attract further biotechnology companies, support new start-ups and connect them with the scientific community.

Overall, Mainz is to develop into an internationally visible and successful life science and biotechnology location. Companies and start-ups will be able to continue to successfully drive forward their innovations here.
