The successful life science and biotechnology hub has earned its first-class international position. As someone who comes from Mainz, helping to shape the future of this region for the benefit of us all is a matter very close to my heart.

Tim Roos is an administrative economist and joined the team in October 2024. After completing his Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, he gained practical experience in the administrative sector at Boppard City Council as well as in location marketing at Koblenz Touristik GmbH. Most recently, he was a Master's student in the Public Economics program at the University of Speyer, in order to understand economic relationships in the public sector and apply this knowledge specifically to sustainable location development.

As a project manager for marketing support, his focus is on the development and coordination of measures to identify qualified companies and investors and convince them of Mainz as a location.

As a native of Rhineland-Palatinate, actively helping to shape the vibrant Life Science & Biotechnology Hub is an exciting and motivating task for me. I believe that showing companies and investors the diverse and innovative facets of Mainz and attracting them to future projects is an important contribution to sustainably strengthening the location and the entire region.
