12th Life Science and Biotech Meetup
- When: Wednesday, December 10, 2025
- Where: in the Great Hall of the IHK für Rheinhessen, Schillerplatz 7, 55116 Mainz
- Start: 6:30 pm
- Optional: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, guided tour of the nearby Carnival Museum and the German Cabaret Archive. For logistical reasons, a maximum of 60 participants can be accommodated. Advance registration is therefore essential. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The meeting point for the tour is at Neue Universitätsstraße 2 (Proviant-Magazin).
Procedure of the Meetup from 6:30 pm:
- Welcome by the IHK für Rheinhessen - Karina Szwede (Managing Director)
- Current developments at the Life Science Hub Mainz – Jan Uphoff (biomindz)
- Keynote speech INTELLIGENTX GmbH – All of AI for faster Biotechnology – Prof. Dr. Andreas Dengel (CEO and Head of DFKI in Kaiserslautern)
- On the way to the EHDS – Digitization of health data with the IDG - Philipp Kachel (Managing Director, IDG Institut für digitale Gesundheitsdaten RLP gGmbH)
Refreshments and light catering will be provided in a festive atmosphere.
Due to its central location, we recommend traveling by public transport. If you are arriving by car, you can use the Schillerplatz parking garage.
The Meetup is organized in cooperation with the IHK für Rheinhessen, the Life Science Zentrum Mainz, the InnoNet HealthEconomy e.V. and the Biotechnologie-Akademie RLP.
